On November 3, the New Energy Industry Special Committee of the Jiangsu Overseas Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance was officially established. More than 30 experts from China and abroad attended the meeting and exchanged views, including Liu Daming, Director of the International Department of the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology; Zheng Pinggang, Vice Chairman of the Changzhou Association for Science and Technology; Yan Chenglin, Vice President of Changzhou University and Director of the National Key Laboratory for High-Specific-Energy Battery Materials; and Ge Zongtao, Honorary President of the Japanese Overseas Chinese Doctors Association, Vice President of the Ningbo Industrial Internet Research Institute, and Co-Chairman of Su Chuanglian. Professor Zhang Bo of Fudan University, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Comprehensive Energy System Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technology Research Center and Chairman of SHINE-HYDROGEN, attended the event by invitation and was elected as a committee member.
The Jiangsu Overseas Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance, known as Su Chuanglian, is a non-profit organization under the guidance of the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology. It was jointly launched in June 2021 by nine organizations, including the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, the World Green Design Organization, the EU-China Urban Development Committee, the China-Europe Life Science Alliance, the Japanese Overseas Chinese Doctors Association, and the Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Administrative Committee. The New Energy Industry Special Committee is the alliance's fifth sector committee, created to integrate global high-end innovation resources, support high-level self-reliance in new energy technologies, and promote the high-quality development of Jiangsu's new energy industry.

At the inaugural meeting, attendees reviewed and approved the presidium roster, elected the committee's inaugural rotating chair, nominated a secretary-general candidate, and adopted the Administrative Measures of the Su Chuanglian New Energy Industry Special Committee. The committee also heard Yan Chenglin's vision for its future work. A total of 28 professors, entrepreneurs, and investors were recommended to join the presidium, including Li Yinsheng, foreign member of the Japanese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of CNNC Sanmen Nuclear Power; Lin Jinxi, Chairman of Changzhou Almaden Co., Ltd.; Fu Liming, Chairman of Changzhou Shichuang Energy Co., Ltd.; and Zhang Bo, Chairman of SHINE-HYDROGEN. Liu Daming then delivered remarks calling for cross-sector collaboration, an open and shared new-energy ecosystem, and stronger support for Jiangsu's high-quality green development.

SHINE-HYDROGEN will make full use of the committee's resource advantages, focus on clearly defined priorities, and continue contributing to local green development through technical support, new-energy ecosystem building, and talent-development collaboration.
