On November 10, 2025,SHINE-HYDROGEN (Shanghai) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.usher inBosch GroupIn depth visit by the hydrogen energy business delegation. The delegation is composed of core members from Bosch's procurement, product management, and R&D teams, including the procurement manager Mr. Buekki Zoltan-Alfred、Mr. Froehlich Schlapp Michael、Ms. Lu Beiwen, Product Manager Mr. Marino Michael Giuseppe and R&D Expert Ms. Yan Yan. The purpose of this visit is to thoroughly investigate the membrane electrode technology strength of SHINE-HYDROGEN, and to conduct substantive discussions on the procurement strategy and future cooperation plans of CCM (catalyst coated membrane).

△ SHINE-HYDROGEN: Breaking through technological boundaries and defining new industry standards
During the visit, the Bosch delegation conducted a comprehensive inspection of SHINE-HYDROGEN's R&D center, GW level membrane electrode production line, and testing platform. Professor Zhang Bo, Chairman of SHINE-HYDROGEN, systematically demonstrated the company's breakthrough achievements in PEM electrolysis of water for hydrogen production:
lGlobal leading catalyst technology: energy conversion efficiency of 86%, iridium loading reduced to 0.3 mg/cm ², achieving the full performance target of the US Department of Energy's DOE by 2026 ahead of schedule;
lLarge scale manufacturing capability: self-developed third-generation roll to roll double-sided direct coating equipment, achieving stable mass production of large-sized film electrodes over 2500cm ², with a yield rate and slurry utilization rate of over 95%;
lExcellent customer verification: Test data from third-party evaluation agencies, downstream customers, and other partners show that the SHINE-HYDROGEN large-area membrane electrode exhibits excellent performance and stability, especially under high current density conditions, providing reliable guarantees for industrial applications.
Bosch: Optimistic about the Chinese market and agrees with the PEM technology roadmap
The Bosch procurement team elaborated on its CCM procurement strategy and global supply chain layout in the PEM electrolysis field. The delegation expressed high appreciation for China's sustained policy support in the fields of clean energy and hydrogen energy, and clearly expressed optimism about the enormous potential of the Chinese market.
Product Manager Mr. Marino Michael Giuseppe, as a Ph.D. in the field of electrolyzed water, shared valuable technical insights based on his in-depth research on AEM membranes during his student years. He clearly pointed out that PEM technology is more suitable for large-scale consumption of fluctuating wind and solar power compared to AEM. The service life of AEM membrane is still the biggest bottleneck in the industry, and even if the current target reaches 10000 hours, it is still difficult to meet the needs of large-scale industrial applications. "This professional judgment is highly consistent with SHINE-HYDROGEN's strategic choice to focus on PEM technology route.

Joining hands to build a new ecosystem of green hydrogen industry
Through this in-depth exchange, both parties haveTechnology research and development, supply chain collaboration, and market expansionMultiple consensuses have been reached in various aspects. SHINE-HYDROGEN's technological accumulation in the fields of large-sized membrane electrodes and low iridium catalysts complements Bosch's advantages in system integration, global layout, and quality management.
Based on this fruitful exchange, SHINE-HYDROGEN has officially entered the Bosch CCM core supplier inspection list, and both parties have agreed to carry out further in-depth cooperation on specific technical specifications, quality standards, and supply plans. At a critical period of global energy transition, this visit has laid a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the field of green hydrogen in the future, demonstrating the firm determination of Chinese and foreign enterprises to work together to promote energy transformation.
