This technology uses innovative processes to embed iridium oxide nanoparticles into cerium oxide carriers, forming a stable and efficient supported catalyst structure, successfully solving the core bottleneck that has long constrained the large-scale application of PEM technology - the high cost of precious metal catalysts.

This breakthrough technology brings three significant advantages:

   Significant cost reduction: The usage of precious metal iridium has decreased from the industry standard of 1.5-2mg/cm ² to 0.3mg/cm ², a decrease of over 80%, directly breaking through the biggest pain point of PEM hydrogen production.

Significant improvement in energy efficiency: The catalyst performance has comprehensively exceeded the 2026 technical indicators set by the US Department of Energy (DOE), achieving a low cell voltage of 1.72V at a current density of 3A/cm ², and the energy conversion efficiency has been increased to 86%.

Long and stable lifespan: Accelerated aging testing shows a voltage decay rate of ≤ 1.3 μ V/h, with a theoretical lifespan of over 15 years, far exceeding the industry average.

The industrialization process is accelerating, empowering the future of green hydrogen

SHINE-HYDROGEN is not only a pioneer in laboratory technology, but also a practitioner of industrialization. The company has built the world's first 7GW level high-density PEM membrane electrode production line, using independently developed third-generation roll to roll double-sided direct coating technology, with a stable yield rate of over 95% and an increased slurry utilization rate of 95%.
